Our story
Rooted in Community. Driven by Purpose.
Mission The Mission of Tout Je Sou Bondie (TJSB) is to engage in the fight against illiteracy throughout the globe, focusing primarily on the regions closer to Haiti, which incidentally is native to the founding members of the organization. TJSB aims to use the resources at its disposal to set up learning camps and projects wherever the need for basic education should manifest itself as being a major obstacle to the development—be it economic, social, political, or academic--of the community under observation.

Our vision
"A world where zip code never determines destiny."
How it started
In 2009, founder Terrence J. Simmons-Brown watched a promising student in his neighborhood drop out of school — not for lack of ability, but for lack of support. That moment became the spark.
What began as a Saturday tutoring program in a church basement has grown into a full-service youth development organization serving over 2,400 young people annually across three counties.
Today, TJSB partners with schools, local businesses, and families to deliver programs that meet young people where they are — and walk alongside them toward where they want to go.
What we stand for
Dignity first
Every person we serve is treated with unconditional respect and belief in their potential.
Radical transparency
We publish our financials, outcomes, and challenges openly — because trust is earned, not assumed.
Community-led
The people closest to the problem are closest to the solution. We listen before we act.
Long-term thinking
Real change takes time. We invest in relationships and programs that last, not quick fixes.
